Pricing

How NexGen pricing works

NexGen membership gives you access to the platform, tools, and community. Course pricing is set by each educator and purchased separately.

Platform access is what you pay NexGen for. What you learn inside — courses created by educators — is priced by those educators and billed separately. Some courses may be free. Others may be paid. That is always the educator’s choice.

No free plan. Every tier has real value and a clear audience. Upgrade or downgrade at any time.

How Community Access Works for Students

We built NexGen with the whole child in mind — and that means protecting younger students while still giving them access to the community resources they need.

Ages 5–15

Community access requires parent or guardian approval first. Students in this age group cannot connect to community resources, outside contacts, or external links without a parent actively enabling access from the parent dashboard. All community interactions are parent-supervised.

Ages 16–18

Students in this age group can access community resources independently. Parents receive a notification when their student accesses the Community Hub for the first time. Parent notification settings can be managed in the parent dashboard at any time.

Built-in ways to grow

Shareable achievement certificates

Every time a student completes a NexGen milestone, the family receives a branded achievement certificate they can download and share. Certificates display the NexGen logo, student name, milestone, and date — designed to be shared on social media.

Family referral rewards Earn free months

Family Plus members who refer another family to NexGen receive one month free when that family enrolls. There is no limit on referrals. This turns every enrolled family into a word-of-mouth growth engine.

Frequently asked questions

Do I pay NexGen AND the educator for courses?

Yes. Your NexGen membership gives you access to the platform, community, tools, and resources. Courses created by educators are priced separately by each instructor. Some courses are free. Others are paid. That choice belongs to the educator — not NexGen.

Which tier is right for my homeschool family?

Start with Homeschool Family. It covers your parent educator account and up to 3 student accounts with full curriculum and community access. If you want parent certification courses and live Q&A sessions, upgrade to Family Plus.

Can I add more than 3 students to the Homeschool Family tier?

The Homeschool Family tier covers up to 3 student sub-accounts. Need more? Contact us — we can build a custom household plan for larger families.

What happens to my child’s community access?

Students ages 5 to 15 require parent or guardian approval before accessing any community resources, outside contacts, or external links. Students ages 16 to 18 can access the Community Hub independently, with parent notifications available in the parent dashboard. You are always in control.

Can educators set their courses to free?

Absolutely. NexGen educators choose their own pricing. Free courses, paid courses, and sliding-scale options are all supported. Setting a course to free is a great way for new educators to build their audience on the platform.

Is there a contract for school and district plans?

District plans are custom agreements scoped to your school’s needs. There is no one-size-fits-all contract. We work with your procurement and legal team to build a partnership that works.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Monthly plans cancel at the end of your current billing cycle. Annual plans are non-refundable but can be cancelled to prevent renewal. All your data remains accessible through your plan period.

Do you offer discounts for nonprofits or community organizations?

We are committed to equity in education. If you are a nonprofit, community organization, or Title I school serving underserved Houston families, reach out to us directly. We want to find a way to make NexGen work for you.

The Next Disruption Is Not Waiting. Neither Should You.

Every day without a plan is a risk you don’t have to take. NexGen Elevation Hub is built for exactly this moment — for Houston families, educators, and schools who are ready to stop scrambling and start leading.
