Privacy Policy

Effective Date: 1 September 2026

NexGen Elevation Hub (“NexGen,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it through our compliance with this policy. This Privacy Policy describes the types of information we may collect from you, or that you may provide, when you visit or use nexgenelevationhub.tech and nexgenelevationhub.com (together, the “Site”), and our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing that information.

This policy applies to information we collect on the Site, through the NexGen learning platform, and in electronic communications sent through the Site.

A note about student information: NexGen may be used by schools, educators, and families to support K-12 students. When a school or district enters into an agreement with NexGen, we may collect information about students as part of providing our services to that school (“Student Data”). We treat Student Data as confidential and use it only to provide, maintain, and improve our services for that school, family, or student, consistent with this Policy, our agreements with schools, and applicable law, including the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

1. Information We Collect

We collect several types of information depending on how you use the Site.

Information From Parents and Guardians. When a parent or guardian creates an account, we may collect a name, email address, phone number, and information about the parent’s child needed to set up a student profile, such as a first name, age or grade level, and school, if applicable.

Information From Educators and Schools. When a teacher, school administrator, or other school representative registers an account, we may collect a name, email address, school or district name, and role.

Information From Students. Students may have profiles created and managed by a parent or by their school. We collect the information a parent or school provides to set up the profile, along with information generated through use of the platform, such as coursework progress, activity completion, and responses submitted within the platform.

Information Collected Automatically. Like most websites, our Site may automatically collect certain technical information when you visit, including your IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, and the date and time of your visit. We may use cookies or similar technologies for this purpose. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

Information You Provide Directly. If you contact us, complete a form, register for an event, or otherwise communicate with us, we collect the information you provide, such as your name, email address, and the content of your message.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Site and the NexGen platform
  • Create and manage student, parent, and educator accounts
  • Personalize learning content and track student progress for the benefit of the student, parent, and school
  • Communicate with you about your account, our services, or in response to your inquiries
  • Improve our programs, curriculum, and services
  • Comply with legal obligations and protect the safety and security of our users

We do not use Student Data for targeted advertising, and we do not sell Student Data.

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information. We may share information in the following limited circumstances:

  • With Schools and Parents. Information about a student may be shared with that student’s school and/or parent or guardian, as appropriate, to support the student’s use of the platform.
  • With Service Providers. We may share information with vendors who help us operate the Site, such as hosting or email providers, who are required to protect that information and use it only to provide services to us.
  • For Legal Reasons. We may disclose information if required by law, to respond to legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of NexGen, our users, or others.
  • Business Transfers. If NexGen is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to the protections described in this Policy.

4. Children’s Privacy and COPPA

NexGen is designed to support K-12 students, including children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from a child under 13 without the consent of a parent or guardian, or without the authorization of the child’s school acting on the parent’s behalf, consistent with COPPA.

Parent-Created Accounts. When a parent creates a child’s profile, the parent controls the information provided and may review, update, or request deletion of that information at any time by contacting us at nexgenelevationhub@gmail.com.

School-Authorized Accounts. When NexGen is used through a school, the school is responsible for obtaining any necessary parental consent required by law before a student under 13 uses the platform, and we rely on the school’s authorization to collect student information for educational purposes.

5. Student Data and FERPA

Where NexGen partners with a school or district, any Student Data we collect or receive is used solely to provide our services to that school, consistent with our agreement with the school and FERPA. We do not use Student Data for advertising, and we do not build advertising profiles of students. Schools and parents may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of student information, and we will work with the school to fulfill that request in accordance with our agreement and applicable law.

6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We may use cookies and similar tracking technologies to operate and improve the Site, remember your preferences, and understand how visitors use the Site. Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through your browser settings. Some features of the Site may not function properly if cookies are disabled.

7. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information we collect. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services and fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. Schools and parents may request deletion of student information at any time, subject to any records we are required to retain by law.

9. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your role and location, you may have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of personal information we hold about you or your child. To make a request, contact us at nexgenelevationhub@gmail.com. If your child’s information was provided by a school, we may direct your request to that school, consistent with the school’s policies and applicable law.

Texas Residents. NexGen is based in Houston, Texas, and does not knowingly sell personal information as that term is defined under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated Policy on the Site with a new effective date. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy.
